Break Down: All materials (clay, tools, decorating materials, glaze) included. Firing included. Pieces will be bisqued and clear glazed prior to pickup.

Want to grow your surfaces, add a pop of colour and texture, and develop some imagery? Sgraffito 101 is here to teach you all about how to layer slips and underglazes, while using carving tools to accentuate drawings and surfaces. Inlay techniques, such as mishima, using wax resists on leather hard clay will also be discussed.

Bring your cone 6 leather hard pots or decorate ours. We will be providing students 2 tiles and 2 thrown cylinders to decorate and keep!

Pieces will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the Workshop.
