Surface Decoration: Mishima! - Sun May 24 - 12-3PM

Join Ezri for an afternoon of surface exploration and decoration. Learn the in’s and out’s of fine inlay decoration using wax resist on leatherhard clay. Explore imagery, carving techniques, material application, and more!

Ezri will support and assist students with development of images and surface themes, allowing students to bring their visions to life. Students will also learn about adding background colours, waxing using high quality wax, using different tools to explore line quality, and discuss treatment techniques after firing.

2 leather hard tiles will be provided (6x6 before firing), but we highly recommend you bring your own leatherhard pots to decorate!

Pieces will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the Workshop.
